This TOPAZ OCR machine was bought about 2 years ago and is the current model. It currently retails for $7995 (bought from “See Differently” – Royal Society for the Blind in Adelaide. Bought for my friend’s visually impaired mother, she used only a couple of the many features. She is selling because she has moved to a nursing home. One great feature is it will automatically read and translate text and read it aloud.

The difficulty for an interstate buyer would of course be getting it from Adelaide. I am willing to help - maybe a pickup (it weighs 21 kg ), but if a courier I would be asking you to organise how this happens, insurance etc. I would be willing to drop the price a bit to help cover costs.
